Visitors / noise / smoking
- Your family and friends are welcome to come and stay. Where possible, we will try to help with a parent parking space during their visit.
- Smoking is not allowed inside, but we have dedicated outdoor spaces.
- We have quiet hours between 22:00 - 07:00 and ask everyone be respectful of these.
Staying on with us
Current tenants will be offered a chance to renew for the following year where appropriate.

I stayed at 48onNewNorth Exeter in the Spring and I would definitely recommend. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable and very nicely decorated - everything felt brand new.

On New North are fantastic clean, welcoming and well managed flats. The hostess and host are so very helpful when you need anything and the location, right in the middle of town, is absolutely fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend these flats as a home away from home experience.

I used to pass your building while walking to City Centre from campus and never realised until I experienced living here that this is one of the best accommodation in Exeter. Modern contemporary style apartments ideally situated in the heart of the City with so much more to offer.

48onNewNorth is amazing for pets, they're very considerate and they love animals! Kobe, my 9 month old german shepard border collie, loved living here. They even went as far as to give us little treats for him, a blanket to cover the sofa so he could sit on it worry-free and we went for a dog walk together. Overall he loved living here and while it was only a short time, it was great for Kobe, and for me!

48onNewNorth is a great option. It combines benefits of student accommodation with having a spacious flat, and an added bonus is the location. The landlords are super helpful. My flatmates had already been there a year and I would have definitely liked to stay on if I was not due to return overseas.

To find 48onNewNorth apartments was like finding paradise. A new roomy flat in the Exeter city Center, 15 minutes walking to my job in St Luke's Campus. A comfortable, quiet and safe environment, perfect to study and work. The Landlords are very friendly, always ready to help. I was able to verify it when the lockdown began, that they offered meetings and established relationships so that all tenants supported each other and we were safe. Wonderful place to live! I recommend it!

I stayed at 48onNewNorth for one year and it was the best accommodation in my 4 years at Exeter. 48onNewNorth is in the best location, close to uni and in the city centre with everything I needed around me. It was a safe and comforting environment, with key fob access to the buildings and main gate. The landlords were amazingly available when needed and accommodating, creating a safe and supportive environment. Highly recommended and wish I had been able to spend more time there!

I lived at 48onNewNorth for about a year and it is by far the best accommodation I have had in my five years living in Exeter. We managed to snap up one of the spacious, modern flats just as they were finishing refurbishing it and Piers was always a good landlord, quick to resolve any queries as they came along. Not to mention it was great living tucked away in the heart of the city, only seconds away from the high street and a short walk most places.
Living there throughout the first lockdown truly showed how great Piers and Marianne were to have as the owners. They decorated the courtyard parking lot with plants, vegetables and a beautiful painting - brightening up the space and ensuring it felt like a welcoming outdoor space in those times where going out and about in the city was more restricted. After a year with Covid, final university exams and other stressful experiences having a nice place to call home is always important. Living in the 48onNewNorth community was that home. At no point did I feel unwelcome not only with the property owners but the other tenants too. It provided a safe and comfortable environment to enjoy my final year at university and I couldn't think of a better place.
